  1. I read the Orleans’ piece because I gave it to a friend. The New Yorkers were backed up (when aren’t they) and as I tumbled into the bathtub I gravitated to the Gopnik on why Dreyfus mattered. And that definitely struck a chord. Now I’ll definitely have to read the Specter. Thanks for your efforts. … LaValle
